La Final

2022

This malbec is born to remember the sweet taste of a victory. That final of the World Cup in Mexico 86. The seventh game of a team that had already made history, and which still lacked the best.

The team had already matured enough to be certain that if things were done well, there would be no rival to stop them.

  • Nose: Intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits, such as plum and blackberry, combined with notes of vanilla, chocolate, and sweet spices from the oak.
  • Palate: Broad and silky entry, with ripe and round tannins. Well-balanced between fruit and oak, with a long and elegant finish.

Winemaking

The grapes were hand-harvested at their optimal ripeness. A cold maceration was carried out for 3 days, followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with daily pump-overs and delestages to achieve optimal extraction of color, aromas, and tannins. Subsequently, a 5-day post-fermentative maceration was performed to enhance the wine’s structure and complexity. Malolactic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, providing smoothness and roundness on the palate.

Aging

12 months in French and American oak barrels, a combination of new and second-use barrels.
