Mendoza Vineyards Malbec

2019

The Wine

Our vineyards are located in Alto Agrelo in Luján de Cuyo. The vineyard expands over 72 hectares of old vines at 1,050 metres above sea level. We aim to produce balanced, complex and exceptional artisanal wines which are representative of the Mendoza terroir.

This Malbec is produced from grapes harvested from Medrano, Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley where thermal amplitude is significant. Mendoza Vineyard varietal wines are fresh, fruity and easy-drinking wines.

Vintage Overview

The climate was dry (rainfall 20-60% lower than usual), producing small berries and slightly lower yields. Temperatures were colder overall. The 2019 harvest was carried out approximately 1 to 3 weeks earlier than usual with grapes in perfect condition and without botrytis or mildew.
